Resource Center - Guide to Information

Two weeks ago, the Resource Center hosted a webinar titled "The Resource Center is Closing - Get What You Need Now." The webinar took attendees on a tour of the website, www.bywaysresourcecenter.org. It showed where materials are located, how to use them, which are available for download, and which to request hard copy. It also highlighted some lesser-known information such as the Byways Project Database.

The www.bywaysresourcecenter.org website will go dark at the end of June. The Resource Center is actively looking for agencies, organizations and groups that may be interested in taking over the ownership of several key tools and materials and continuing to make those available when the Resource Center is gone. However, several publications, trainings, and tools will not be transferred and will not be available after June, due to intellectural property ownership issues. Therefore, you may wish to avail yourself of these resources prior to the close of the Resource Center and its website.

But don't delay, there has been a huge response to the webinar and Vistas notices about materials. Supplies of the hard copies are running low, and some are already gone.
